## Why these answers are right

**27. NOT GIVEN.** Paragraph A says the word genius is universally associated with Leonardo and that 500 years have passed since he died. It never says when people first called him a genius, so the statement is NOT GIVEN.

**28. NOT GIVEN.** Paragraph B gives a death toll of some 200 million for the plague and says the climate crisis is predicted to cause widespread death. No figure or comparison is offered for climate deaths, so whether there will be more is NOT GIVEN.

**29. TRUE.** Paragraph B places the plague crisis before the Renaissance alongside today's climate crisis and says that then, as now, radical solutions were called for. This compares present-day challenges with those of an earlier time, so the statement is TRUE.
