## Why these answers are right

**13. O.** The flow chart says that in March beekeepers do something for migration at night. Paragraph D explains that it can take up to seven nights to pack the hives onto pallets and trucks, which is getting ready, so "prepare" (O) fits rather than "set off" (G).

**14. P.** Hives are packed at night, the passage says, because moving them during the day would leave too many bees homeless. At night the bees are inside, so the hives are "full" (P) and quiet; "empty" (Q) is the opposite of what the timing achieves.

**15. A.** The chart says a little of something keeps the bees calm. Paragraph D adds that, in case some are still lively, bees can be pacified with a few puffs of smoke blown into each hive's entrance, so the answer is "smoke" (A).
