## Why these answers are right

**1. antlers.** Paragraph B says the first builders used primitive tools which may have been fashioned out of deer antlers. "Made from" paraphrases "fashioned out of", and both antlers and deer antlers fit within two words.

**2. posts.** The note says something may have been arranged in deep pits inside the circle. Paragraph B reports that pits within the circle may have once held a ring of timber posts, so posts or timber posts is correct.

**3. tree trunks.** According to the long-standing archaeological theory in paragraph D, builders fashioned sledges and rollers out of tree trunks. The note reverses the order, "used ... to make sledges and rollers", so the two-word answer is tree trunks.
