## Why these answers are right

**1. A.** You are looking for where the first cinema was. Paragraph A gives the exact address: the Lumière Brothers opened their Cinematographe at 14 Boulevard des Capucines in Paris in 1895. A street address is a location, so the answer is A.

**2. I.** The item asks how cinema came to center on storytelling. Paragraph I lists paths it might have taken, then says it became overwhelmingly a medium for telling stories, moving from short reels to the novel-length narrative after 1912. That process makes I correct.

**3. J.** This item is about how fast cinema has changed. Paragraph J opens by saying it has all happened so quickly, and stresses that it is a mere 100 years since the train film. That focus on speed makes J the answer.
