## Why these answers are right

**27. G.** Paragraph A says that what seemed simple at first triggered an almost obsessive, decade-long journey. A gift that turned into a ten-year effort was unexpectedly difficult, and an unexpectedly needs a noun phrase after it, so challenging task (G) fits.

**28. J.** The journey was marked by a series of obstacles that would have deterred anyone less determined. Overcome in the summary goes naturally with obstacles, and a series of obstacles is numerous problems, so the answer is J.

**29. I.** Paragraph B says obtaining a good globe was not simply a matter of a quick online order. The summary rewrites this as a straightforward ___ would not be possible, and an online order is an internet purchase, so the answer is I.
