## Why these answers are right

**1. TRUE.** The statement says the exhibition aims to show the many kinds of people in expeditions. Paragraph A says it "sets out to present an alternative view" of exploration as collective work "involving many different people." Sets out to matches aims, so the statement is TRUE.

**2. FALSE.** The common belief is that Park and Livingstone were lone travelers. Paragraph A says they "were anything but 'alone' on their travels" and depended on local support for food, shelter and guidance. The belief is therefore wrong, which contradicts the statement, so it is FALSE.

**3. NOT GIVEN.** The statement claims the RGS has organized several exhibitions since it was founded. Paragraph B gives the founding date, 1830, and describes the collections, but the only exhibition mentioned anywhere is Hidden Histories. Nothing says how many others it has held, so this is NOT GIVEN.
