## Answer key

| Q | Answer | Proof |

| 14 | C | it is this advanced marketing strategy, along with the other organisational and commercial achievements of the WSPU, to which the exhibition is devoted. |

## Why these answers are right

**14. C.** The question asks what the museum exhibition focuses on. The second paragraph says the WSPU projected one of the first corporate identities and "it is this advanced marketing strategy" the exhibition is devoted to, so C, the movement's corporate image, is right.

**15. D.** You need the reason the WSPU outdid other suffrage groups. The passage says its slogan and colors "brought the movement the cohesion and focus it had previously lacked", and women left the "less directed" groups to join it, so D, a clear purpose and direction, fits.

**16. D, E.** The question asks in which two years laws gave British women the vote. The final paragraph mentions "the bills of enfranchisement of 1918 and 1928" that gave adult women the vote, so the answers are D and E. The years 1906 and 1914 only mark the exhibition's period.
