## Why these answers are right

**16. YES.** The statement says London Zoo's advertisements are dishonest. The writer says one advertisement irritated him because it so patently distorted reality, and he calls its central claim a myth. Distorting reality is being dishonest, so the statement agrees with his view.

**17. YES.** The statement claims zoos contributed little to conservation until 30 years ago. The writer says zoos were created for entertainment and that their involvement with conservation did not seriously arise until about 30 years ago. That matches an insignificant contribution, so YES.

**18. NOT GIVEN.** The statement is about whether the WZCS document is known in Eastern Europe. The writer mentions Eastern Europe only to show that he finds new zoos there almost every week. He says nothing about people's awareness of the document, so it is NOT GIVEN.
