## How to check your own result

- Your total score and level appear on screen when you finish the test.
- The official notification follows on the Prometric website within five business days. Prometric keeps it online for five years.
- A total of 200 or more is A2, the Specified Skilled Worker (i) level. 175-199 is A2.1 and 145-174 is A1. The result doesn't expire.
- If you scored 199 or lower, you can book again after a 45-day gap between test dates.

Put your total into the [JFT-Basic score checker](/jft-basic/score-checker) to see your level, how far 200 is, and your earliest retake date. Before the next attempt, a [free JFT-Basic mock](/jft-basic) shows which of the four sections is costing you the most points.

## Download the data

The full dataset, every test window and country from Jan 2020 to Aug-Sep 2026 with applicants, examinees and A2 passes, is a [CSV file](/jft-basic/results.csv). Each row links to the Japan Foundation report it comes from. The country rows of every window add up to the report's total, and the windows add up to the Japan Foundation's yearly totals.

Testmigo is not affiliated with the Japan Foundation or Prometric. The figures are copied from their public pages; if you cite them, cite the Japan Foundation report as well.
