> Look at the text below. In 35 seconds, you must read this text aloud as naturally and clearly as possible. You have 40 seconds to read aloud.

In addition to its unique geography and geology, Yellowstone is also home to many different species of plants and animals. For example, there are more than one thousand species of trees and plants native to the Yellowstone area. It is also home to many species of fauna, many of which are considered megafaunas, such as grizzly bears and bison.

## Explanation

Stress "geography and geology" clearly, since the words sound alike. Pause briefly at the commas after "For example" and "fauna" before going on. Say "megafaunas" as MEG-uh-faw-nuhz and "bison" as BY-sun. Read "more than one thousand species" smoothly as one group. Keep "grizzly bears and bison" clear at the end.

## Hints

- Focus on pronouncing the scientific terms and geographical names clearly.
- Ensure you pause briefly at commas to maintain a natural flow of speech.
