You are part of a student club planning a cultural festival, but budget constraints are limiting your plans. You decide to approach the student union to request additional funding and explain why the event would benefit the campus community. What would you say to make your case effectively?

## Answer

Hello, our student club is planning a cultural festival, but budget constraints are limiting what we can organize. Since this event would celebrate diversity and bring students together, we believe it would greatly benefit the campus community. Therefore, I'd like to request additional funding support from the student union. Moreover, we're willing to submit a detailed plan and cost breakdown to show how the funds would be used responsibly. With your support, we can make this festival more inclusive, engaging, and impactful.

## Explanation

A successful response clearly states the purpose of the request, highlights the cultural and social benefits of the festival for the campus community, and provides a clear justification for the additional funding.

## Hints

- Start by clearly stating the purpose of your request and the specific event you are planning.
- Focus on how the festival will enrich the campus community, such as by promoting diversity or fostering student connections.
