Effective study requires time, comfort and peace. it is impossible to study with employment because one may distract the other. To what extent do you think the statements are realistic? Give your opinion with examples.

## Answer

Many people argue that effective study depends on time, comfort and peace, and that combining study with a job is impossible. In my view, the first claim is largely realistic, but the second is exaggerated. Working while studying is difficult, yet with careful planning it is entirely possible.

It is true that good study needs time and a calm setting. Learning complex material requires long periods of concentration, and this is hard to achieve when a person is tired or rushed. For example, a nursing student who works night shifts in a supermarket may arrive at morning lectures exhausted and struggle to follow the content. In such cases, employment clearly reduces the quality of learning, and grades may suffer as a result.

However, it is unrealistic to say that study and work can never be combined. Many students hold part-time jobs and still graduate successfully, often because work teaches them discipline and time management. A business student who works weekends in a cafe, for instance, learns to plan revision around fixed shifts and may value study time more highly. Furthermore, some jobs actually support learning, such as a paid internship that turns an engineering student's classroom theory into practical skills.

In conclusion, I agree with the statements only in part. Effective study certainly benefits from time, comfort and peace, but employment does not make it impossible. When students choose suitable hours and organize their schedules well, work and study can coexist and even strengthen each other.
