Some people are always in a hurry to go to various places and get things done. Other people prefer to take their time and live a life at a slower pace. What is your opinion?

## Answer

Some people rush from one task to the next, while others prefer to move through life at a slower, calmer pace. Although a fast pace can sometimes be necessary, I believe that a slower approach generally leads to better work and a healthier, happier life.

Admittedly, there are situations where hurrying brings real benefits. People who work quickly can often complete more tasks in a day, which may help them meet deadlines or earn more money. For example, a restaurant manager during a busy dinner service must make rapid decisions to keep customers satisfied. In such jobs, a habit of speed is an advantage, and people who move too slowly may fall behind.

Nevertheless, constant hurrying usually comes at a high cost. People who are always rushing tend to make careless mistakes, and they often suffer from stress and poor sleep. By contrast, those who take their time can think more carefully and enjoy what they are doing. A student who spreads revision over several weeks, for instance, usually understands the material better than one who crams the night before an exam. Similarly, a family that eats dinner slowly together builds stronger bonds than one that eats in a hurry in front of screens.

In conclusion, while speed is useful in certain jobs and emergencies, I am convinced that a slower pace of life is the better choice for most people. It allows for careful thinking, reduces stress and leaves room for the relationships and experiences that make life meaningful.

## Explanation

A strong response effectively balances the argument by acknowledging the benefits of both approaches. It uses clear paragraph structures to present a thesis, supporting evidence for each perspective, and a cohesive conclusion.

## Hints

- Start by clearly stating your position on whether a fast or slow pace is more beneficial for personal well-being and success.
- Use one paragraph to discuss the advantages of efficiency and another to highlight the benefits of mindfulness or reduced stress.
